PODCAST GUESTS
Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the podcast interview? A typical podcast recording session is anticipated to be 60 minutes in length (plus a 30-minute interview prep meeting with our producer, held within a week or two of the scheduled recording session).
Will the episode be recorded, or is it live? This interview is recorded and professionally edited. Most sessions take place virtually via Zoom, unless both the artist and production team choose to record in person. Edits are made only for time and flow, ensuring a polished final product. We never alter your voice or change the content of your responses.
What topics will we be covering? We want to hear about your latest project, album, or tour! We will also be giving each podcast guest a platform to talk about their passions/projects in which they support.
How should I prepare for the interview? You will get a list of questions within a week of the scheduled interview, but our host and our production team may ask follow up questions that may not be listed during the recording session. You'll also want to be sure to attend the interview prep meeting where guests are encouraged to ask questions of the production team/producer.
Where and when will the episode be published? Episodes are released via a LIVE REPLAY event on our Twitch Channel on a date determined by the production team. Artists are encouraged to attend and to create a Twitch profile ahead of time so they can engage with the attendees in the chat during this event. Additionally, a YouTube premiere event may take place in lieu of or in addition to the LIVE REPLAY on our Twitch Channel.
What happens after I submit my podcast guest application? Our production team will review your application within 7 days. Once the review is complete, you’ll receive an email directly from our producer. Please remember to check your spam or junk folder for messages coming from our official domain: @texaswomeninmusic.com. For your security, we will never contact you first by text or phone, and we will never ask you for money. If you receive anything like that, please know it is not from us.
